Overview of Procedure

BEFORE YOUR SESSION

Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! Always drink plenty of water before, during and after your sauna session! Feel free to bring in a water bottle to drink during your session.  A bath towel and face cloth are provided for your use.

Remove all make-up to allow your skin to receive the full benefits of the infrared and red light waves.

WHAT TO WEAR

Most people prefer to expose as much skin as possible, so a swimsuit or underclothing. However, this is a public facility, nudity is not permitted. The more rays that your body is exposed to the better! (Your room is completely private.). Sunglasses are beneficial to use, if the red light is too bright for your comfort. We recommend bringing clothing that is loose fitting and comfortable to put back on after your session.

DURING YOUR SESSION

Our staff will show you into the room for your first session, step out for you to undress and enjoy your session.  After your first session, the room will be ready for your use.  There is a timer provided for your use.

You have control over which device and panel you use.  There are two smaller panels, one full body panels, and one hand-held device.  The panels can be hung over head, front facing or on the side.  Choose your configuration and then turn the panels on and relax. Use the goggles provided, if using any device closer than 6- 10 inches from face.

It is safe to leave your eyes open although it may take a few minutes for your eyes to adjust to leaving them fully open. Use sunglasses if needed.   The devices turn on with a power button.  The devices can be used up to 10 minutes per each area of the body.  Rotate, turn over, sit a different way to expose your troubled areas to the light, its completely customizable and individualized experience. Turn off all devices and panels after your session is over.

AFTER YOUR SESSION

When you finish your Red Light Therapy session it is important to relax and have a cool down briefly. Let your body do the work to return itself to its regular status.

Place your used towels in the Towel hamper and you’re all set!

Wait at least 20-30 minutes before you shower.

Step By Step Procedure

Remove any metal items that can become hot before switching on the device.  White or light-colored clothing, bathing suit or undergarments must be worn at all times.  Black clothing absorbs the light and makes it less effective.  The more exposed the body part to the light, the more effective the treatment.

We recommend short treatment times at the beginning.
